It’s nice to be out there in the real world where you can experience everything under the sun. But then that would be exposing yourself to every possible temptation and trials, which can either, break you or make you. And then again, this world is a place where you need to struggle to survive, it is a place where the weak has no place, or is it? Probably if you are living on your own and you do not recognize any supernatural being or believe in divine power you are living in a world where only the strong survive, only the powerful remain standing and the weak destroyed...
AMiCUS. Adventist Ministry to College and University Students. I don't think there's another name more appropriate to describe this group as such. It's an Adventist group, it's a ministry, and it caters to college and university students. But among other things, its being "a ministry" stands out. Why? AMiCUS is not exclusive for Adventists because it's open to non-Adventists. In fact, we have a number of non-Adventist alumni and members. The ministry does not limit itself to college and university students. It reaches out to kids, to families, to communities.
