AMiCUS - Adventist Ministry to College and University Students

A website with nothing new

E-mail Print PDF

You may have visited AMiCUS.PH about a couple of times. Maybe more. You may have been excited reading the posts here upon seeing them for the first time. But then a few days after, you eagerly visit AMiCUS.PH only to see the same old articles you have read days ago. So you let it pass. But then you come back after 2 weeks... 3 weeks... you still see the same posts! Now you wonder if our website is even alive, it would be a waste of time to visit. A website that doesn't even deserve attention.

Truth be told, AMiCUS.PH is REALLY in need of contributors and writers. After all, this website is designed and is being made to be a hub for all AMiCUS members- Adventist students attending non-Adventist institutions. It wasn't made to be a website used only by a sole AMiCUS chapter. It was made for every AMiCUS member to share and to inspire.

While we are seeing a quick rise of AMiCUS members in our AMiCUS.PH Facebook Page, we are also sad to see that not a single "AMiCUS member" can express desire and commitment to contribute to the website. AMiCUS.PH could be a great tool to share the good news to who knows how many. Let's take advantage of it.

To our dear AMICUS Friends,

Christian Greetings!

Last Dec. 4-12, 2009, the Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) had experienced a foretaste of Generation of Youth for Christ (GYC) (check out www.gycweb.org) through Philippine Youth for Christ. Speakers coming from the United States mainly, Dr. Samuel Koranteng- Pipim, Pastor Randy Skeete and Pastor Karl Tsatalbasidis delivered timely messages that revived AUP Students in the whole campus. And now through the working of the Holy Spirit, the whole Philippines is about to experience a GYC Philippines that serves as a movement to encourage young people to take part in hastening the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, on Dec. 17-22, 2010 at the AUP campus.

It is our earnest desire for our AMICUS friends to be part of it also.

Please do reply in this email that we may work together for God's cause.

Thank you so much and may our good Lord bless AMICUS!

P.S.
more details to be followed
